With the Thule VeloSlide, a bike rack has been constructed which lacks competition regarding user friendliness and vehicle integration. What makes this bike rack unique is its patented operation for the rear garage: in its centre is a basic rack, which is easy to pull out by hand, with a maximum load capacity of 70 kg, at whose both ends a bicycle or e-bike can be placed. After the basic rack has been pulled out of the rear garage 1.5 m horizontally, the convex wheel intakes (which are adjustable and fastened by turning) can be adapted to the specific wheel dimensions and bicycle mounts. Robust tightening handles and bike holders secure the bikes on the rack. Pulling back the basic rack into the rear garage can be done in steps to store additional luggage in between. Should the rack not be needed, it can be pulled out or aside to save space. Weight: ca. 20 kg.
